But for real.....there are several things that we feel God has given us a vision for in our lives. God has given us a passion for these things and He will accomplish them through us as long as we are willing to submit to His ways. It is exciting to see how He works out the details to bring each and every area of His vision for us to fruition.

Participate in church planting by working along side pastors and missionaries
Meeting remote peoples' physical needs so that they will be open to us meeting their spiritual needs
Flying missionaries, supplies, medical relief teams, medical evacuations, etc. to and from remote locations
Work in any way needed to promote community development

I (Michawn) feel called to my family first and foremost. My husband and my children come first. Church and community endeavors follow right behind. This includes:

Supporting Joel in any way he needs
Training up our children in the way they should go, so that when they are older they will not depart from it
Keeping a peaceful and orderly house
Teaching our children…this includes everyday life lessons, but we also plan to homeschool when the kids reach school age
Reaching out in our community, mission organization, and local church in whatever needs should be met

I have also always felt called to adoption. Joel shares that desire. We aren't sure of the specifics of how and when that will happen, but feel very sure that God will orchestrate everything at just the perfect time. I also feel like I will be playing some sort of role in the future in helping others to adopt/helping children to find homes.

We are so excited about the vision God has called us to. We know that God has a special vision for each and every one of you too. Seek Him and find it. He will give you that vision and also help you to carry it out living abundantly.
